Purerua Peninsula is a peninsula on the northwest side of the Bay of Islands in Northland, New Zealand. Te Puna Inlet lies to the south of the peninsula. Communities on the peninsula are Purerua, Te Tii and Taronui Bay.[1][2] The area was originally called the "Oshi district".[3]

Te Tii School is a coeducational full primary (years 1-8) school with a decile rating of 3 and a roll of 21.[5]
A Purerua Public School was in existence in 1906, with a ferry service from Te Tii.[6]
